The Problem We Solve

Every organization has moments that determine everything.

From Acquisition to CEO transitions to post merger integration to rapid expansion, there are different critical moments in an organization's journey. These are what we call Kairos Moments℠.

We believe Kairos Moments℠ are the critical inflection points where organizational culture and leadership alignment determine whether the business strategy will succeed.

We've found that many organizations recognize these Kairos Moments℠ when it is too late. Kairos Leaders helps companies recognize and navigate these moments with precision before they become an irreversible crisis.

01 PE Acquisition

When a new PE sponsor enters, organizational alignment and cultural integration are the difference between a smooth transition and months of friction that quietly erode the investment thesis.

02 CEO Transition

A new CEO changes everything — priorities, communication patterns, accountability norms. Without deliberate alignment, the gap between what the new leader expects and what the organization delivers widens quickly and expensively.

03 Post-Merger Integration

Mergers combine organizations on paper. Culture integration requires deliberate leadership work. Most execution failures in M&A trace back to misaligned leadership behavior — not strategic or operational decisions.

04 Rapid Plant Expansion

Growth outpaces leadership infrastructure when it happens too fast. New facilities, new teams, and new operating rhythms require deliberate culture architecture — not just operational scaling.

05 Leadership Turnover

When key leaders depart during critical periods, execution inconsistency follows. The question is not just who fills the seat — it is how the organization maintains alignment and accountability through the transition.

06 Safety Deterioration

Safety incidents are rarely about safety alone. They are symptoms of accountability breakdown and cultural drift. Addressing the root cause requires organizational diagnosis — not just process correction.

07 Engagement Collapse

When engagement drops, it signals something deeper — a disconnect between what leaders say and what the organization experiences. Survey scores are the symptom. Root cause engineering reveals the source.

08 Strategy Shift

Changing strategy without changing the leadership behavior and organizational rhythms that support it is the most common source of failed transformation. Strategy shifts require cultural recalibration, not just communication.

09 Plant / Site Restructuring or Closing

Restructuring or closing a facility sends a signal across the entire organization. How leaders manage this moment determines whether remaining employees engage or disengage, and whether the organization recovers its operating rhythm or loses it.

The Firm

The intersection where very few firms operate.

Most culture consultancies cannot credibly talk operations. Most operations firms cannot transform leadership behavior. Kairos Leaders operates at the intersection of both — and that intersection is rare.

Founded by a former Fortune 50 Senior Executive, Kairos Leaders was built for high-pressure environments where operational performance and leadership behavior directly shape business outcomes.

Yewande O'Neal

Yewande O'Neal is the Founder and CEO of Kairos Leaders. She founded Kairos Leaders at the intersection of two disciplines that rarely share a room: industrial engineering and human system transformation.

Her career spans decades of executive leadership across Fortune 50 organizations in manufacturing, energy, healthcare, and appliances — environments where operational precision and people leadership must coexist at scale. Over that career, she has impacted more than 40,000 business team members across 100+ countries, driving measurable transformation in engagement, productivity, and enterprise performance.

Yewande holds a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. She is a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt and a Maxwell Leadership Executive Coach, Speaker, and Trainer. That combination — engineering discipline and leadership systems — is the source of the firm's methodology, and the reason Kairos Leaders operates at an intersection very few firms can credibly occupy.

Her conviction is direct: culture is not a soft initiative. It is the operating architecture that determines whether strategy executes or stalls. That conviction is the foundation of Culture Root Cause Engineering℠ and the SHIFT Framework℠.

The SHIFT Framework℠

A proprietary operating system for navigating pivotal organizational moments. Not an HR initiative — a precision instrument for diagnosing execution risk, aligning leadership, and embedding the discipline that makes transformation last.

Delivered through Culture Root Cause Engineering℠ — our foundational diagnostic methodology that identifies what is actually driving organizational behavior, not what appears on the surface.

Who We Serve

Built for PE-backed companies.

We are intentionally focused on PE-backed companies because that specificity is what makes our work precise. We understand the investment timeline and the operational realities of the businesses we serve.

PE Firms & Operating Partners

When execution risk lives in the organization, not the strategy.

When leadership alignment, culture drag, or execution inconsistency threatens the investment thesis, Kairos Leaders provides the diagnostic and transformation capability to address it systematically — before it shows up in the numbers.

Portfolio Company CEOs

When strategy is clear but execution keeps fracturing.

Strategy does not fail on whiteboards. It fails in organizations where leadership is misaligned and culture is pulling in a different direction. Kairos Leaders helps you close that gap — with precision and results your board can see.

HR & People Leaders

When you need the language your CEO and board will act on.

Kairos Leaders gives you the diagnostic rigor, methodology, and operational language to make the culture case at the executive level — and the execution support to deliver results that connect to enterprise performance.

Point of View

Culture Isn't the Soft Part. It's the Infrastructure.

Why the organizations that treat culture as an operating architecture outperform those that treat it as a climate initiative — and what that means for PE value creation.
